These regions were hit by three major waves of rain and flooding over the course of two which led to flooding in at least 26 of Iran’s 31 provinces resulting into the deaths of at least 70 people nationwide.

Near about 150 houses, two hospitals and two schools for the flood victims would be built in the Maqtoo village of the province with the donation collected from India which is said to be Rs 6 crore Indian currency. The Indian students from the religious seminaries of Qom also visited the province to know about the developmental work being carried out in the region and also to help in the construction works.
